The Islamic Army in Iraq, Mujahideen Army, Twentieth Revolution Brigades, and the Islamic Iraqi Resistance Front Jointly Issue a New Statement about the Constitution
By SITE Institute
October 14, 2005

A statement issued by a joint collaboration of the Islamic Army in Iraq, Mujahideen Army, Twentieth Revolution Brigades, and the Islamic Iraqi Resistance Front, today, October 14, 2005, alleges that the Americans have waged a campaign of violence against the Sunnis and have pressured organizations such as the Islamic Iraqi Party to approve the ?mockery constititution,? since they believe that it would otherwise fail. The statement, also, denounces the Islamic Iraqi Party, and entreats the mujahideen to maintain self-control and aim their weapons at the ?American enemy who started all this chaos,? and their supporters.

The statement concludes with a call upon the Sunnis to boycott the referendum.

A full translation of the statement is provided to our Intel Service members.
