A member of a password-protected al-Qaeda affiliated forum recently posted a message chastising potential mujahideen for calling upon al-Qaeda and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to carry out attacks against offensive people or events. The author characterizes these people making grand threats of Allah's retribution, but then expecting al-Qaeda to sweep down and carry out the punishments. In his lecture, the author repeatedly compares prospective mujahideen to football spectators, content to simply cheer for their favorite team. He entreats his readers to remember that "al-Zarqawi is in Iraq, and these people are in other countries…maybe the brothers who are demanding [that al-Qaeda] to kill [offensive actors] are living in the same countries as the actors, and it is easy for them to reach the actors [targets]." The author sepcifically mentions those brothers in Europe who call for action, yet they do nothing while residing within the continent.
The author points out that jihad is not limited to Zarqawi and al-Qaeda, and those Muslims who believe that they were not ?ordered by the Shari?a to go for jihad? should be ashamed.
