Al-Qaeda in Iraq Claims Responsibility for Spate of Attacks upon American and Iraqi Forces in al-Qaim, Baghdad, al-Mosul, and Tal Afar

Al-Qaeda in Iraq issued ten communiqués today, October 18, 2005, claiming responsibility for attacks on American and Iraqi forces in al-Qaim, Baghdad, and al-Mosul, assassinating an al-Ghadr Brigade member in al-Dawra, and kidnapping and executing an Iraqi police officer in Tal Afar.
