Ansar al-Sunnah Claims Responsibility for Several Assassinations in Baghdad, and Bombings Targeting Iraqi National Guards and Americans Forces in Baghdad

Ansar al-Sunnah issued six additional communiqués today, November 1, 2005, claiming responsibility for several assassinations, including: the chief of Abdul Aziz al-Hakim?s bodyguards in Baghdad, a soldier in al-Asad brigade in al-Dawra, a member of Badr brigade in al-Sayediya, and another Badr member in al-Ghazaliya. In addition, the group detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) yesterday on a National Guard vehicle in al-Tarmiya, and detonated another IED on an American minesweeper yesterday in al-Radwaniya, in Baghdad.
