Ansar al-Sunnah Claims Responsibility for Several Operations Targeting American and Iraqi Forces in al-Ramadi, al-Mosul, al-Howeija, Samarra, and al-Dawra

Ansar al-Sunnah issued eight communiqués today, November 2, 2005, claiming responsibility for several operations targeting American and Iraqi forces in al-Ramadi, al-Mosul, al-Howeija, Samarra, and al-Dawra:

  1. Destroying an American Humvee, Killing Who Were in it in the Officers? Section in the City of al-Ramadi
  2. Ambush of a Police Patrol; Two Cars Were Destroyed and 8 Killed in al-Dawra
  3. Destroying an American Humvee in al-Zohour Section in the City of al-Mosul
  4. Two Attacks on a Police Patrol and the Office of the Kurdish Union in al-Mosul
  5. Bombing a Crusaders Gathering with Five Shells in the Section of al-Wehda in the City of al-Mosul
  6. Bombing al-Karama Section Police Station in the City of al-Mosul with Three Mortar Shells
  7. Destroying Three American Vehicles in an Ambush in al-Howeija, North of Baghdad
  8. Fourteen Rockets Bomb Three Military Points in the City of Samarra, North of Baghdad
