Al-Qaeda in Iraq issued a statement today, November 11, 2005, providing additional details into the suicide bombings executed in Amman, Jordan on Wednesday, November 9, including information regarding the bombers and the targets of attack.
Following a posturing of position in the current time in relation to the Iraqi government and those Muslim countries which condemn the raised ?flag of jihad,? the group explains that the executors were composed of four native Iraqis, three men and one woman, who evaluated the targets after a period of one month. The leader of the four, Abu Khabib, initiated the attacks upon the ?leaders of the infidels? in the bar of the Raddison Hotel, followed by another in the Hyatt Amman, and the third by a husband and wife pair in the Days Inn, ?to shake the unbelieving and prostitution center?.
The group reiterates that the ?separation wall? built east of the Jordan River will ?feel the might of the mujahideen,? and warns: ?This is the first of the heavy rain?.
