The fifth broadcast of ?The Voice of the Caliphate,? a weekly news format video produced by the Global Islamic Media Front, which was recently distributed amongst jihadist forums, features a new interview format show titled: The Interview Has a Remainder.? The 7:57 minute video, includes a sit-down discussion with the ?head of the public relations office? of the Global Islamic Media Front, Sayf al-Deen al-Kinani, who expounds on the urgency for those Muslims capable of providing services to the group to do so, and speaks about the group?s ties to al-Qaeda.
The interviewer poses a variety of questions to al-Kinani, including what message he would like to convey to the ?young men in the jihad forums,? members of the media groups of the ?jihad fighters,? and plans of the GIMF for the future. In addition, al-Kinani is asked to address the claims of the media that the group and ?Voice of the Caliphate? are affiliated with al-Qaeda. In response, al-Kinani states these allegations are ?groundless and truly agitated us,? explaining that though they produce articles and media about al-Qaeda, they do not necessarily belong to them. He believes this is to pigeonhole the Global Islamic Media Front into the known enemy symbol of al-Qaeda, ?they avert their eyes from the new generation of jihad fighters, a generation with the same ferociousness that you can find in al-Qaeda. They are spread all over Iraq and the other conquered lands.?
Al-Kinani answers each of the questions which were raised, and urges members of the jihad forums who can contribute to the group to do so, and extends a hand to the media organizations of the ?jihad fighters.?
