Jaish Ansar Al-Sunnah Insurgency Group in Iraq Ambushes Employees of a US Base in Tikrit, Killing More Than 20
By SITE Institute
December 6, 2004

In a statement posted Monday, December 6, 2004 to the website of the Iraqi insurgency group Jaish Ansar Al-Sunnah, the group claims responsibility for setting ?a perfect ambush for employees of a company that has a contract with the Crusader Forces,? killing more than 20 of civilian Iraqi workers and injuring more. The group warns that it considers such civilian workers ?a category of apostates working as servants to the Crusaders, and selling their religion for cheap offers from this world; but, thanks to Allah, the Mujahideen are watching and waiting for them…. Based on the above, we say to all those who work with the Crusaders: Sooner or later, this is going to be your fate. We are preparing ambushes for you. Repent and change how you are to save yourselves, or else, wait for this fate that is awaiting you.?

A full translation of the statement is provided to subcribers of our Intel Service.
