The Islamic Army in Iraq Issues a Directive to Its Members to Not Attack Polling Stations
By SITE Institute
December 13, 2005

The Islamic Army in Iraq issued an order to its ?heroes? yesterday, December 12, 2005, instructing that polling stations are not to be attacked so that the innocents will not be struck in ?unaimed? operations against the alleged criminals. They state that this directive is not indicative of acceptance of the elections or political process, but is based on Islamic law. Further, the statement reads that jihad operations will continue to be executed upon American forces and their supporters.
