The Victorious Army Group Announces New Rules for Those Participating in the Information Departmentís Website Design Contest
By SITE Institute
December 19, 2005

The Victorious Army Group [Jeish al-Ta'eifa al-Mansoura] issued two announcements today, December 19, 2005, providing new rules to those people participating in the Information Department?s contest to design a website for the group. Both messages state that submissions made in the contest are to contain only the design, and not comments or corrections. Further, the group reminds those entering their website designs to note the deadline of January 5, 2006.

The Victorious Army Group announced a contest on November 5, 2005 to design a website ?worthy? of the group and the ?reputation of the jihad and mujahideen.? The initial one-month deadline was extended by one month, and added the incentive that the winner may remotely fire three long-range rockets at an American military base in Iraq.

A translation of both announcements is provided to our Intel Service members.
