The Twentieth Revolution Brigades Claims Responsibility for Bombing an American Minesweeper
By SITE Institute
January 17, 2006

The Twentieth Revolution Brigades issued a communiqué to the Internet today, January 17, 2006, with a sixteen-second video clip, in which they claim responsibility for detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) on a minesweeper of the ?American occupation forces? in the ?north section.? According to the message, the vehicle was destroyed and the solder driving was killed.

The video shows a vehicle traveling along a barren road, perhaps in the early evening, over which a superimposed red arrow graphic tracks the target. An IED explosion is followed by the destruction of the vehicle.

The video clip and a translation of the message is provided to our Intel Service members.
