JAS Claims Responsibility for Suicide Operation Against National Accord Council Police

Jaish Ansar Al-Sunnah [the Army of the Supporters of the Sunnah] - the insurgency group in Iraq which has claimed responsibility for numerous attacks in Iraq, including the December 21st attack on the US military?s Al-Ghizlani Camp near Mosul - posted a statement to its official website today, January 3, 2005, claiming responsibility for a car bomb suicide attack against ?a large crowd of collaborating special police members, assigned to guard the quarters of the National Accord Council of the apostate Allawi.?
