Ansar al-Sunnah has released four communiqués detailing their most recent operations in Iraq. In the first message, the group claims having launched four rockets against ?Crusader Barracks? in Samarra. ?It was a successful hit resulting in columns of smoke seen coming from the location.?
The second communiqué alleges that the group detonated a device that killed four police officers and injured two others in Tikrit. The officers were in a ?pickup double cabin police car.?
The third statement claims that the group sniped a member of the ?interior police? in Samarra. ?He was killed on the spot.?
In the final release, the group provides a video that allegedly shows the detonation of a car bomb against an ?American Humvee? in Samarra.
