The Islamic Army in Iraq claims responsibility for several operations targeting American and Iraq forces, and Israeli Mossad in a series of eight recently issued communiqués. According to the messages, the group detonated improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on enemy targets between Sunday, March 26, 2006, and today, destroying ?Crusader? Humvees in Yathreb, al-Yusefiya, Jurf al-Nadaf; an Israeli Mossad vehicle in al-Hilla, allegedly killing five; bombing al-Bakr air base, north of Baghdad, with mortar shells; and assassinating a leader in Badr Brigade in the al-Jihad section of Baghdad.

A translation of the eight messages is provided to our Intel Service members.
