April 9, 2006

Today, April 9, 2006, Saraya al-Mujahideen, a brigade of Katbiyan Ansar al-Tawhid wal Sunnah, released a communiqué along with a video to the Internet. Within the message, the group offers a ?last call? to the German Government to meet its demands for the release of two German agents being held by the group. These demands include ?stopping all assistance and help to the Americans and their supporters.? If they are not met, the group vows to execute the hostages.

The statement is accompanied by a video showing the hostages speaking in German.

The video clip and a translation of the message are provided to our Intel Service members.
