Al-Rashideen Army [Jeish al-Rashideen] in Iraq, issued a 3:33 minute video today, May 8, 2006, containing an open letter to U.S. President George W. Bush, spoken in English by Abu Dugana al-Baghdady, the Operations Direction of the insurgency group. Abu Dugana asks: ?How can you do it?,? referring to the purported silencing of not only American domestic media, but European and Arabic as well, concerning explicit details of mujahideen operations. In this video, subtitled in Arabic, he refers to reporters describing civilian casualties in these attacks, but never mentioning the loss to American forces. The letter states: ?But no, in no way did something happen to the brave soldiers inside the explosion. They are the bulletproof American supermen and women in uniform, the undefeatable cowboys who smoke out their enemies.?
Also, Abu Dugana al-Baghdady notes of a 50-minute English documentary produced by al-Rashideen Army, which will serve as a ?serious effort to break the code of silence?.
The first video open letter dictated to the American President was presented in the same way on March 26, 2006, and bears as a similar message about an ?Iron Curtain? erected around the War in Iraq that silences information from within the Iraqi state.
