The Twentieth Revolution Brigades Claims Responsibility for Bombing an American Armored Vehicle in Abu Ghraib and Issues Statement Denying Meetings with Iraqi Government Officials

The Twentieth Revolution Brigades issued a communiqué with a twenty-one second video today, May 18, 2006, claiming responsibility for detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) on an American armored vehicle in Abu Ghraib, purportedly killing five soldiers and injuring three. In addition, the group issued a statement denying claims that they have entered into meetings with the Iraqi government, assuring that they adhere to their principles and jihad, and ?resisting the occupier and his helpers and we will not abandon this way until we have victory of martyrdom.?
