The Mujahideen Army Claims Responsibility for Firing Rockets at a British Base in al-Basra

The Mujahideen Army [Jeish al-Mujahideen] in Iraq issued a communiqué yesterday, May 21, 2006, claiming responsibility for firing four rockets at British forces on the previous day, Saturday, in their base at the presidential palace compound, located at the Shat al-Arab waterway in al-Basra. According to the message three British soldiers were injured, and plumes of smoke and fire were seen rising from the base.
