The Mujahideen Shura Council in Iraq today, June 1, 2006, issued a series of three audio lectures in a series titled: ?Did You Get the Message of the Shi?ites,? dictated by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, Emir of al-Qaeda in Iraq, and running for a total of four hours. Each of the lectures presents a historical discussion of the Shi?a Islam doctrine, accusing Shi?ites of activity akin to a ?fox who takes the shape of a sheep,? allegedly using faith in Allah as a guise for power-seeking purposes. In the course of his oration, in the third tape, Zarqawi indicates the intention of the historical lessons, claiming that victory will not be had over the ?infidels? unless the unbeliever Shi?ite enemies are fought: ?The Islamic conquerors in the time of the Rashideen Caliphate was not achieved until after cleaning the Arab Peninsula of the converters; that?s why the one the Shi?ites hate the most is Salah al-Din. And it is well known that survival for the people is their eternity. It has to be supported by good faith.?
A translation of the introductory message and a brief summary of each lecture are provided to our Intel Service members.
