Statement From al-Qaeda Group in Iraq Threatening to Kill Italian Hostage in 48 Hours if Italian Army Does Not Withdraw from Iraq

In a short announcement signed by the Zarqawi headed al-Qaeda group in Iraq "Tanzeem Qaedat al-Jihad Fi Bilad al-Rafidayn", al-Qaeda in the Country of Two Rivers, the group threatens to kill Italian hostage Giuliana Sgrena in 48 hours, if the Italian government does not announce its withdrawal from Iraq. The announcement proceeds to notify the Italian people that they will never feel secure as long as their forces are stationed in Iraq.

Note: This message was not released by the group's official spokesperson, Abu Maysara al-Iraqi.
