Two communiqués from the Islamic Army of Iraq Claiming Responsibility for Twin Bombing on Two Humvees and Iraq National Guards

The Islamic Army of Iraq issued two communiqués claiming responsibility for two bombings, one of which destroyed 2 Humvee vehicles, killing its occupants, and another, that killed 7 members of the Iraqi National Guard.

The communiqués were posted on the Internet.

The first message lauds the army brigade that perpetrated the attack, today, March 8, 2005, that ?was able to completely destroy two Humvee
vehicles and killed all who were inside them by exploding a car bomb at the Kayara Bridge in Mosel…?

The second communiqué highlights two attacks carried out by the Islamic Army in Iraq brigades yesterday, March 7, 2005. : one ?burn[ing] three
trucks carrying goods for Americans in the area of Al-Doloeia,? and the other, ?kill[ing] seven of the non-believers? National Guard, one of whom
was an officer.?
