By SITE Institute
March 15, 2005

On March 15, 2005, al-Qaeda in Iraq, the Jihad Organization in the Country of the Two Rivers, issued a communiqué claiming responsibility for detonating two car bombs in the al-Amel section of Baghdad, ?aimed at a convoy of cross-worshippers, and thanks to Allah, it was blown up and numerous Americans were hit and their body parts were scattered.?

Detailing the attack, the message praises the suicide bomber involved in detonating the first car bomb and goes on to describe the events which transpired afterwards, stating: ?After the blast, Americans rushed to the site of the attack thinking that the attack was over. They closed the road and as the planes came to carry the dead, our heroes engaged it and they were hit with another car bomb nearby the first one.?

Furthermore, the communiqué promises that al-Qaeda in Iraq ?are carrying on their jihad till the sharia of Allah prevails in all nations, and you will see more.?
