In a statement issued by Abu Maysara al-Iraqi on March 14, 2005, al-Qaeda in Iraq, the Jihad Organization in the Country of the Two Rivers, extends support to the brothers of al-Qaeda Organization in Saudi Arabia and urges its members to ?drive the non-believers out of the Arab island.?
Promoting unity between the mujahideen in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, the message states that ?as much as the countries are apart, your bullets are ours? and the jihad being waged in Iraq has another purpose in proxy fighting for the mujahideen in Saudi Arabia, ?defending Mecca because the cross-believers there wish and dream to destroy the Muslims and beat the mujahideen at their home as the mujahideen hit them at their home.?
Furthermore, al-Qaeda in Iraq offers a home amongst brothers to those mujahideen whom opt to fight in Iraq and instruct those that cannot ?to stay in their points in the land of Al-Haramein? and fight.
