Ansar al-Sunna Claims Responsibility for Two Attacks; Graphic Video Shows Execution of 3 Jordanians
By SITE Institute
March 29, 2005

Today?s Site Institute report describes violent activities attributed to Ansar al-Sunna. The two communiqués are accompanied by a high-quality, 5-minute video clip, which was distributed by Ansar al-Sunna to claim responsibility for the deaths of three Jordanian prisoners. After the trio described their work in transporting supplies, ammunition, and arms for American forces, Muslims herded them outside in hoods and ripped the coverings from their heads in the bright sunlight. The army executors pushed the prisoners to their knees and shot them repeatedly. ?By Allah,? said the communiqué published by the Ansar al-Sunna military committee, ?we do not find any difference between them and the Americans.?

Full translations of both communiques and the 5-minute video clip are provided to our Intel Service members.
