Al-Qaeda Takes Responsibility for the Death of Two Fallujah Guards and Responds Viciously to Media Reports of Decreased Al-Qaeda Activity
By SITE Institute
March 29, 2005

The al-Qaeda Organization in the Land of Two Rivers (Iraq) claimed responsibility for two deaths in the first of two statements today. The slaughter by al-Qaeda was carried out by two members who rode in a car driven by the guards because of current restrictions against Iraqis driving in Fallujah. The statement declared the al-Qaeda intention of continuing their ?story of terror that does not end.?

The second statement responds to media reports that the number of al-Qaeda attacks have decreased: ?They lie, and their lies are their religion. The mujahideen came from everywhere, and they vow to wage jihad and achieve victory.?

Full translations of both statements are provided to our Intel Service members.
