Al-Qaeda in Iraq [Tanzeem Qaedat al-Jihad Fi Bilad al-Rafidayn], issued three communiqués claiming responsibility for myriad attacks on American forces in Iraq over the past two days:

1. al-Qaeda in Iraq claims responsibility for today?s car bomb that was detonated in Samaraa destroying three Humvees
2. A suicide bomber blew himself up in Mosul yesterday, in which the explosion ?resulted in completely destroying two armed vehicles and burning the soldiers inside them.?
3. The third communiqué describes the fighting that took place yesterday between al-Qaeda in Iraq fighters and American soldiers and Iraqi police officers in Mosul, resulting in ?many casualties for the enemy and destruction of their vehicles.?

A full translation of all three statements issued today is provided to our Intel Service members.
