Three communiqués issued by Abu Musab al-Zarqawis group, al-Qaeda in Iraq [Tanzeem Qaedat al-Jihad Fi Bilad al-Rafidayn] describe the group?s ongoing jihad in Iraq:
1. The first communiqué highlights the mujahideen bombing a base of ?Jews and Christians? in al-Quaem and speaking to the Allied forces, states: ?Become pleased with what hurts you. You are unsatisfied with humiliation and we are not satisfied but with killing you cross-worshippers.?
2. Ruing the failed ambush of a highly ranked member of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, the second communiqué warns: ?We say to the enemies of Allah, if one arrow goes astray, we still have more arrows.?
3. The third communiqué provides a summary of al-Qaeda in Iraq?s operations from March 10, 2005 through today. The group?s activities include: repulsing an American advance on the city of Hasseiba by mortar fire, the detonation of various land mines and explosive packs on passing convoys and the capture and interrogation of members of the ?infidel guards?. Some of the members of the ?infidel guard? were merely questioned, others were ?slaughtered?.
