Explanation of Computer Hacking
By SITE Institute
May 12, 2005

An extensive beginner?s guide to hacking websites and network security was posted to a leading jihadist messageboard. The guide begins by explaining that the word ?hacking? ?in Arabic is referred to ?Spying? or Penetration? and covers more advanced topics such as; What are the Things that Help Hackers Penetrate your Computer, How can the Hacker Enter your Computer, How does the Hacker Chose the Victim he Wants to Penetrate, What are the Most Famous Hacker Programs? in this lengthy 8 page guide. The author goes as far as listing and rating which hacking programs are most beneficial and easy to use. The author?s intended audience of this article is presumably the novice; however, it is apparent the he himself is quite knowledgeable about hacker culture and techniques.

The guide?s ominous conclusion is quite poignant. It states, ?Now wars are not fought on battlefields, but rather on the internet and companies, hackers are considered the more powerful soldiers used by governments. They are especially useful for intelligence. They can penetrate computers and systems of the enemy and steal valuable information as well as destroy sites. We must not forget the electronic wars that are taking place between Arabs and the Jews as well as Americans and the Russians.?

A full translation of the guide is provided to our Intel Service members.
