Ansar al-Sunnah Claims Responsibility for Two Attacks on Iraqi Barracks and the Destruction of an American Humvee

The

Ansar al-Sunnah Army issued two statements detailing their activities on Monday May 16, 2005. They simultaneously attacked Iraqi barracks at Khan Bani Saad and al-Ghalybia "at eight o'clock in the morning, during the morning line up". Ansar al-Sunnah claims to have "inside information that 11 were killed, and tens were injured".

International media reports that four Iraqi soldiers were killed in this morning attack.
