Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi released a new audio tape today addressed to bin Laden stating that his health is fine, contrary to media reports. In the message, entitled "A Message from a Soldier to His Emir," Zarqawi mentions recent events, such as the arrest of al-Qaeda operative Abu Faraj Al-Libbi, and explains that he is back with his friends and family.
Also, Zarqawi addresses Usama bin Laden as his Emir, and assures that he is continuing attacks: ?Thanks to God, I am now among our brothers and family in the Land of the Two Rivers initiating [operations] with my [colleagues] to tear apart the crusaders and fighting the enemies of the Book and the religion.?
Zarqawi also attacks Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani and reads from a Thomas Friedman column from the March 20, 2005 New York Times about awarding Sistani a Nobel Prize.
