Al-Qaeda in Iraq Summarizes Their Recent Attacks in Iraq
By SITE Institute
June 12, 2005

Highlighting their most recent attacks in Iraq, al-Qaeda in Iraq released a communiqué on Saturday, June 11, 2005, that lists six attacks the group has recently carried out.

Claiming these operations were carried out in the memory of Qassem, al-Qaeda in Iraq takes responsibility for two attacks on the police headquarters of Abu Ghraib and four attacks against American forces.

In one of the attacks, a suicide bomber allegedly used English to gain access to Americans: ?the Al-Bara Bin Malik Suicide Brigades [named] Abu Miadh Al-Jazairi set out and attacked a post of the crusaders in the Tamuz quarter, near the Al-Kindy company in Abu Ghraib. After speaking with them in English, they let him through, and he entered among them. There were 12 Americans there. When he was close to the American car, he called ?Allah is the greatest? and exploded. Not one of them was saved.?

A full translation of the three messages is provided to our Intel Service members.
