In a communiqué issued to the Internet today, June 16, 2005, the Islamic Army in Iraq claims responsibility for a car bombing today in the area of al-Soleikh in Baghdad, targeting a convoy of Major General Mazhar al-Mawla, the leader of the Iraqi National Guard. The message indicates that ?sixteen infidels of his guard were killed and the others injured….?
