Jihadist Group Claims Responsibility for Attack on Alleged CIA Convoy
Jaish Ansar Al-Sunnah [Army of the Supporters of Sunnah], a group of jihadist insurgents who claimed responsibility for the recent massacre of twelve Nepalese workers in Iraq, claimed responsibility today for an attack on an American convoy in western Iraq. In a communiqué posted to its website, the group said that the target of the attack was a CIA convoy and that ten people were killed in the ambush. These claims could not be independently verified.
