Today, June 26, 2005, Ansar al-Sunnah Army released a new communiqué on a jihadist internet message board denying recent media allegations that it has engaged in talks with Western military leaders. The group adamantly refutes the reports, stating, ?we deny in the absolute denial that there are any negotiations between Ansar al-Sunnah Army and any crusader or apostate.?
The communiqué offers strong words of encouragement to its followers in staying true to the course of jihad. In addition, it pins the recent media reports as ?nothing but clear indications as to what level of madness and losses that the crusaders have reached following the increase of assassinations and the defiance towards them.?
The group closes its statement by enforcing its goals to instate a full order of Islamic rule, with no room for negotiation.
