Communiqué and Video Clip of Nepali Hostage Executions
The SITE Institute has translated the communiqué issued by Islamist insurgents in Iraq taking responsibility for the execution of twelve Nepali hostages late last week. The group, which calls itself Jaish Ansar al-Sunnah, claims that their victims traveled to Iraq, ?assisted by their God Buddha, to fight the Muslims in this country, as a favor to the Jews and the Christians, descendants of monkeys and pigs.? The communiqué closes with a warning to the governments of Nepal and other countries:
?Take back whatever you have remaining, before they get sent to you in coffins.?
The SITE Institute has also obtained the execution video clip released together with the communiqué.
A full translation of the entire communique, as well as the video, is available only to paid subscribers.
