Al-Qaeda in Iraq Claims Responsibility for A String of Four Assassinations Targeting Iraqi Officials

Al-Qaeda in Iraq [Tanzeem Qaedat Al-Jihad Fi Bilad Al-Rafidayn], in four separate communiqués issued today, July 7, 2005, claims responsibility of four assassinations of Iraqi officials in Iraq within the past 24 hours. Three members of the Ghadr ?Badr? Brigade, including a ?big leader? were killed in districts of Baghdad today, and Major Kathm Gasm, one of the ?high ranking officials of the National Security Forces of Ministry of Interior, whose photo ID was published by the group, was assassinated yesterday.
