Al-Qaeda in Iraq Claims Responsibility for Attacks Targeting Iraqi Forces in al-Mosul and Baquba, the Assassination of Two Iraqi Police Officers in al-Khalis, and Several Strikes upon American and Iraqi Forces in Fallujah

Al-Qaeda in Iraq, in five communiqués issued today, July 27, 2005, claims responsibility for attacks yesterday targeting Iraqi police in Karaj al-Shamal, in al-Mosul, Iraqi National Guard members in the ?right side? of al-Mosul, a bombing operation on a convoy of National Guards in Baquba, and the assassination of two Iraqi policemen in al-Khalis, in Dyali. Further, the group highlights ten attacks between Thursday, July 21, and Monday, July 25, striking American and Iraqi forces in al-Fallujah.
