Egyptian Workers Abducted in Iraq
By SITE Institute
September 24, 2004

A message posted to a jihadist website on September 24, 2004, announced that two Egyptian workers, who were allegedly doing business with the U.S. government in Iraq, have been abducted. The message, the authorship of which could not be determined, claims that the Egyptians ?made a clandestine agreement with the American companies to implement the plans of the American occupation, which is nowadays plundering the money of the Iraqi Ummah and making clandestine agreements with mercenaries, such as with this traitorous Egyptian company that saw itself fit to stand by these mercenaries and to render their plan in Iraq successful.? It urges the kidnappers to ?cut off their heads, in order that they serve as an example to all who betray their Ummah and their religion, that it repel their likes and that it repel their companies from aiding the enemies of the Ummah.?
A full translation of this message is made available to our paid subcribers only.
