Ansar al-Sunnah Claims Responsibility for Assassinating a Translator Working for American Forces in Baghdad, Attacking Iraqi National Guards and Police in al-Dawra and al-Mosul, and Provides an Update of the Mujahideen in Haditha

Ansar al-Sunnah, in four separate communiqués issued today, August 9, 2005, claims responsibility for attacking a patrol of Iraqi National Guards in al-Dawra, Baghdad, and Iraqi police in al-Mosul, and the assassination of a translator working at an American base in Baghdad. The group also provides as update of the mujahideen in Haditha, alleging that the Americans are ?stumbling from the heavy hits? inflicted, and highlight a bombing operation killing three Americans and injuring two.
