Ansar al-Sunnah Claims Responsibility for Assassinating an Iraqi Security Official in al-Mosul, and Attacks on American and Iraqi Forces in al-Mosul, Tikrit, and Baghdad

Ansar al-Sunnah, in five communiqués issued today, August 19, 2005, claims responsibility for assassinating Mohammad Abdullah Soliman, a Security Officer of the ?converted Doreid Kashmoula office? in al-Mosul, Wednesday, attacking an Iraqi National Guard post in al-Mosul, and attacks on American targets, including a convoy of tankers transporting oil to American forces on the road to Baghdad, an American base in Tikrit, and an ?American intelligence convoy? in al-Mosul.
