The Twentieth Revolution Brigades Claims Responsibility of Bombing an American Armored Cruiser in Ramadi

A group calling itself the Twentieth Revolution Brigades [Kata?ab Thawrat al-Eishreen], an insurgency group in Iraq, issued a communiqué dated September 23, 2005, claiming responsibility of destroying an American ?armored cruiser? in front of the Directorate of Citizenship in the center of Ramadi following a twelve hour siege. According to the message: ?This is an opening shot, on our part, to liberate the country of Islam from the hands of the occupier and his helpers.?
