Ansar al-Sunnah Claims Responsibility of Bombing Iraqi Police in Kirkuk and Announces the Harvest in Areas North of Baghdad

In two communiqués issued today, September 28, 2005, Ansar al-Sunnah claims responsibility of detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) yesterday on an Iraqi police car in Kirkuk, north of Baghdad, and announces the ?harvest? in different areas north of Baghdad, including: detonating IEDs on American and Iraqi National Guard patrols in Beiji and al-Ryadh, sniping an American soldier in al-Howeija, and firing rockets upon al-Bahara base in al-Howeija. The attacks were perpetrated between September 13 and September 17.
